Source diagnosis
Find out why a torrent source is not working.
A torrent may be uncached, waiting for files, lacking seeders, or failed at the provider. Those states are different from a broken player.
Try these first
The fixes that usually work
- Pick a source your provider marks as cached. Uncached sources have to download first and can stall indefinitely.
- Prefer a source with a high seeder count. A low-seed release will fail regardless of your setup.
- If it sits on downloading, give it a few minutes and try a different source meanwhile.
- If every source for one title fails while other titles work, the title is the problem, not your configuration.
No sign-up needed for any of these. If none of them change anything, the free diagnostic checks the rest of the chain and tells you which stage is actually failing.
Common causes
What may be happening
- The torrent is not cached
- No files are selected
- The source has no seeders
- Provider processing returned an error
A better process
Check the chain in order
- Use only legitimate test content
- Inspect the reported torrent state
- Keep link and player checks downstream
- Retest only the affected branch
